I should never need another pair of work gloves.
"The leather treatment is amazing. Feels great both inside and out and feel feel like the kind of quality work that will last decades if well maintained. Love the way Elk feels, insulates, and resists abrasion but I've never really liked the bright yellow color. I'm allergic to bright colors {^_^} but I didn't want to risk dyeing the leather if it would ruin the leather or the dye wouldn't take so I reached out and they immediately responded with a recommendation for Hubbards shoe grease. It's pine tar based and darkened them to a nice dark toffee color just a shade or two lighter than the Bison leather but with the soft feel and flexibility of the elk leather."

"I am totally satisfied with the gloves. It is not an off-the-shelf product. I would have one small improvement: When processing, please make sure that the seams in the gloves are very clean. Sometimes they peck and squeeze their fingers. Otherwise, I am very enthusiastic about John's offer. It's not the first nor the last time that I order something from him. He always responds promptly to emails and understands the customer's concerns, especially when ordering from Europe. I can only praise all things John for my outdoor activities. John, keep it up!!!"
